"What a find. Great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Hadn’t expected to find such good food off the beaten track. The locals obviously know about it because the car park was full. Lots of aged beef to choose from but we opted for the menu du jour which was perfect."

"If you want to taste excellent quality meat, this is the place for you. We shared the gigot of lamb as it was Easter and a substantial piece of 30 day matured beef, cooked to perfection. There is a choice of dishes on the menu or you can choose your own piece of beef by maturation and weight. A warm welcome and excellent service from start to finish."

"My family and I (we are from the US) were on a canal boat trip on the Canal du Midi, and stopped in for dinner. It looked quite fancy to me, and I was worried we wouldn't fit in, being in our canal boat/camping clothes. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, even with the language barrier. The manager/owner came by multiple times to chat and at the end of the night he presented complimentary desserts. It was an all around great night and very pleasant experience. Highly recommend."

The menu was solely in French, and as we are casual speakers we found it difficult to navigate, however our host went through each item with us and offered recommendations with drink pairings. An absolutely wonderful night in a beautiful atmosphere, we cannot wait to be back!"
